Also, the baby gate that Chris made from an old crib was up like it normally is.. That poinsettia is super fake, which works for me because that means that it will last more than three days.. We have another real tree in the kitchen.
By a long time I mean six years. Not that this craft takes six years to make, it’s actually more of a 10 minute project, really, but I actually made this Easter topiary six years ago!
And I’ve yet to share it with you.Can you believe it?So today I’m making things right..
I was going through my Easter stuff a few days ago and I realized that there weren’t many things in there that I really felt like pulling out this year. This little topiary always makes the cut though.
And, actually, it often stays out all year long because it’s just so cute and natural-looking..
If you’d like to make your own, all you need is a cheap bag of plastic eggs and a bag of craft moss.Thankfully this is just in a back hall leading down to the basement that we don’t use very often, so it’s not a high priority.
It definitely reinforces my point that our house is far from perfect though, doesn’t it?.Scary Basements.
Speaking of basements, I can’t believe that I’m about to show you ours.. Let’s just get it over with.. Again, as far as old farm houses go, this one is actually pretty good.I swear that one of the basements we looked at was half swamp.
