I love how the semi-transparent stain gives it such a rich color, but still lets the character of the barn wood shine through.
going on around here since Spring started.. Let’s look at some of my favorite twine projects today, shall we?Maybe by the time we’re done, I’ll have my twining mojo back..
Braided twine doily/place mat.A bowl made from twine and white glue..This one turned out so well and was so easy to do.
I really should make like 50 more of these.. DIY storage bin made from a cardboard box.with twine to give it a baskety look.. Twine-wrapped trash can.
Newspaper, tape, and twine Easter bunny..
I went a little twine crazy at Easter this year.Since this window was sandwiched between two cabinets, we realized we would just need one straight piece of cornice for a nice clean look and wouldn’t need to attach the end cap pieces..
I laid out two section pieces end to end and then trimmed a bit off of the third piece to make up the 40 inches that I would need total.I used my very best empty cat litter box to cut on.
It was actually great because it caught any little pieces of styrofoam that came off.The video suggested using a little saw or a utility knife for the cutting.
